At healthcare industry events, the big topic of discussion is how to move beyond legacy devices and take the next step toward a comprehensive communication platform.
Last week we hosted our customers and partners at VUE16, the Voalte User Experience conference, in Sarasota, Florida. I’m pleased to announce that it was an extremely successful event. While last year’s VUE15 was all about implementation of new healthcare communication technologies, this year we had many customers sharing improved processes and real-world data as a result of those implementations….
VUE16 presented a lively panel discussion today entitled, “Managing patient monitor alarms, middleware settings and smartphone alerts.”
Novant Health is taking an enterprise approach to implementing Voalte Platform across an integrated health network that includes 14 medical centers and hundreds of outpatient facilities and physician clinics.
Trey Lauderdale, Founder and President of Voalte, moderated a dynamic discussion focused upon integrating the EHR with a mobile communications strategy.
Covering the topic of “Sending clinical data to Voalte smartphones,” Candice Friestad and Jill Casanova showed how Voalte Platform is helping to avoid delays in patient throughput and speed the discharge process at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls.
