Voalté® Announces Support For Apple iPad, Integration Available by Apple Ship Date
SARASOTA, Fla. February 9, 2010– Voalté®, the leader in Point-of-Care communication technology, todayannounced its Voalté One solution will be available on the Apple iPad platform.The application brings cutting edge communication technology to nurses andother point-of-care workers.
Voalté (nomenclature derived from Voice, Alarm,Text) currently consolidates all three functions on the versatile iPhone platform. The first-of-its-kind application enables users to send and receive text messages, make voice calls, and receive critical care alarms on the iPhone, providing faster response times to patient needs.

Now, applications thatrequire a larger screen and a full keyboard will have a home and because theiPad is compatible with the iPhone, users will be able to leverage the vastlibrary of iPhone applications and their investment in infrastructure.

Voalté will offer the iPad Development Partner program to its existing client hospitals and a few additional hospitalsinterested in exploring the use of the iPad in healthcare. The Voalté One Application is expected to be available for the iPad by Apple’s shipment date in late March.
