They’ve been there. They’ve done that. Our board boasts wide-ranging expertise across a broad spectrum of organizations, from major health systems to industry-leading technology vendors. What they have in common is a singular focus on growing young companies and positioning solid business models for major success.
Adam has a wealth of healthcare IT experience, as well as a background in building high-performance teams, improving customer satisfaction and enhancing organizational culture. Prior to joining Voalte, he led Hill-Rom’s Clinical Workflow Solutions business, where he defined and initiated a new growth strategy, built a new leadership team, acquired and integrated a complimentary business, and dramatically increased revenue, earnings and customer satisfaction. He also transformed the sales and services organizations, and implemented an improved new-product development process. Previously, Adam spent more than 10 years in various management roles at IBM. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master’s of Business Administration from University of Georgia.
As Senior Director at Cerner Corporation, Bill Gish leads all business development activities at the company. He previously was Director of PowerWorks, Cerner’s Ambulatory business unit. Before his ten years with Cerner, Bill held multiple leadership positions in Finance, IT Project Development and Operations at Sprint. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Accounting and Finance) from Kansas State University.
Isobel Harris serves as the Chairman of PeopleFluent’s Customer Advisory Board, where she works directly with executives and senior management who are constantly engaged to evaluate customer and market needs, focused on enhancing product strategy, vision, communication and technology. In Ms. Harris’ most recent position as CCO for PeopleFluent, she merged all customer-facing roles into a singular accountable organization, which produced significant increases in customer satisfaction and enhanced long-term customer relationships and retention. Prior to joining PeopleFluent, Ms. Harris held the position of Vice President and General Manager at Geac, where she had global responsibility for the growth and day-to-day leadership of the software company’s largest business units. With a proven track record and a deep understanding and execution for sales, services, and product marketing of multiple products and technologies, Ms. Harris achieved growth objectives year over year. Ms. Harris has over 25 years of strong, effective leadership and a wealth of experience in the enterprise software industry, has held senior management positions in the United States and Internationally and is currently a Director on PeopleFluent’s board.
Tom Johnson is a graduate of the Warrington College of Business Administration at the University of Florida and Harvard Business School. He held several senior positions at Alco Standard Corporation, including COO of the copier division, and was COO at Danka Industries. In 1990, he started a consulting business in the copier industry, and in 1995 founded Global Imaging Systems. Global became a public company in 1998, and was named by Forbes in 2007 as one of the 400 Best Big Companies in America ($1.3 billion in revenue). Global was sold to Xerox later in 2007, and Tom retired from his Chairman and CEO role in 2008. Tom and his wife Jane continue to be major benefactors to the University of Florida, where he is on the Board of the Warrington College of Business Administration and the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Tom is also the namesake for the Thomas S. Johnson Masters in Entrepreneurship and the Head Coaches Office (UF Football). In 2007, he was named a Distinguished Alumnus, and served as Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the Business School. He also serves as a Distinguished Director for Gator Boosters.
Charles S. Jones
Charles S. Jones, Chairman of PeopleFluent, who has spent much of his career as an operating executive for a wide range of large public international companies and small growth-driven private companies based in the United Kingdom, Canada and the United States, has a reputation for innovation and customer-centric growth strategies. His desire for this business approach is a powerful commitment to customers and a meaningful endorsement of his understanding of the importance of integrated Talent Management solutions for enterprise companies around the world. Mr. Jones was the Global Chief Operating officer of the London based Shandwick, plc, which during his tenure became the largest Public Relations firm in the world. Before becoming Managing Partner of Bedford Funding, Mr. Jones was Chairman and then CEO of Markham, Ontario-based Geac Computer Corporation, a Toronto Stock Exchange listed software company with annual revenues approaching U.S. $500 million. During Mr. Jones’s tenure, he transformed the Geac business with two large public-company acquisitions and built an innovative and market-leading business intelligence software enterprise, focused on the financial value chain. On October 1, 2001, the Wall Street Journal named Geac the number one performing global stock. In 2004, Mr. Jones was named on the top 10 list of CEOs in Canada and, in 2005, on the top 25 list of CEOs in Canada by Canada’s National Post newspaper.
Since 2009 until his retirement in 2014, Jeffrey Lozon was President and Chief Executive Officer of Revera, a leading provider of senior living, care and services. Before his leadership role at Revera, Jeff was President and CEO of St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto for 17 years. He was Deputy Minister of Health and Long-Term Care for the Province of Ontario from 1999 to 2000, and has served on a number of national and provincial committees and organizations, including chairing the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer. Jeff holds an honorary Doctor of Civil Laws from Bishop’s University, a Master’s of Health Services Administration from the University of Alberta, and a Bachelor of Arts, graduating with honors, from the University of Guelph, Ontario. In 2009, he was appointed as a Member to the Order of Canada.
Trey Lauderdale is the visionary leader behind Voalte. He has helped grow the company since its inception in 2008, and led the sales organization in deploying thousands of smartphone solutions in some of the country’s top hospitals. Trey’s healthcare industry knowledge stems from experience with leading companies such as Siemens and Emergin. He graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, and Minors in Engineering Sales and Electrical Engineering. He earned his Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship from the University of Florida Warrington College of Business.
Michelle Teichman oversees PeopleFluent’s suite of SaaS-based Talent Acquisition applications, which provide recruiting workflow, onboarding, interview scheduling and contact management modules. She is responsible for the product division P&L; product direction, delivery and quality; and commercial affairs for the Recruiting Management System (RMS) line of business. As a product advocate, Michelle works closely with solutions consultants, marketing, and sales teams to communicate the benefits of PeopleFluent’s recruiting solutions. She also works closely with PeopleFluent’s global customer community to ensure future product strategy is aligned to meet customer needs. Prior to her role as Vice President, Michelle served in a number of leadership roles at PeopleFluent, including Director of Software Engineering, Manager of Software Engineering, and Manager of the Database Team. She also held technical roles at Plurimus, Keane, Ciber and Computer Associates. She is a results-driven software engineering management professional skilled at delivering market-leading, high-performance, multi-million-dollar web applications built in native SaaS architecture for Fortune 500 companies. Michelle earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from Kent State University in Ohio.
