After months of planning and lots of work by the Voalte team, I’m thrilled to welcome 100 IT and clinical professionals from Voalte customer hospitals to our hometown of Sarasota, Florida!
We’re kicking off VUE15, our first User Experience conference, with a Poolside Welcome Reception sponsored by Spectralink at the Hyatt Regency Sarasota, a luxury waterfront hotel that’s a perfect oasis for everyone visiting from colder climates. Tonight is all about good food, good drinks and great networking opportunities as the leading innovators in mHealth gather to exchange knowledge and help push the industry forward.
Tomorrow we’ll get down to business with an in-depth demo of Voalte Platform, presentations by Avera Health, Sarasota Memorial Hospital, UCSF Medical Center, Tampa General Hospital and Frisbie Memorial Hospital. We’ll round out the day with a panel of experts discussing alarm management, and a lunch session hosted by our sponsor, Zebra Technologies.
On Thursday, we have Gwen MacKenzie, Senior Vice President of Ascension Health, as our keynote speaker. Gwen helps set high-level strategic goals for the health system as it transitions to a value-based care delivery model. Her keynote will tackle some of the complex issues this major change will bring to the entire industry.
The day will continue with presentations by our friends at Lurie Children’s Hospital, Massachusetts General Hospital and University of Iowa Health Care, plus a panel discussion on the History of mHealth. Travis Good, Co-founder of Catalyze, will moderate a discussion with John Elms from Connexall, John Gresham from Cerner, and Denis Baker, Former CIO of Sarasota Memorial.
Be sure to check our blog frequently for updates on all the happenings at VUE15. We’ll be posting regularly with exciting announcements, event photos and videos, and insights from the many mHealth leaders in attendance.
