This morning, Trey Lauderdale, VP and GM of Care Communications and Paul Johnson, President of Patient Support Services at Hillrom, launched the Voalte User Experience conference, VUE19, with a challenge to the 200+ attendees: “Think bigger and don’t hold back!”
Speaking about the acquisition earlier this year of Voalte by Hillrom, the two expressed enthusiasm for the emerging technologies and enormous opportunities in transforming healthcare and improving patient care.
“Hillrom is a $3 billion company that is embracing digital transformation,” Trey said. “The way beds are used in hospitals is going to fundamentally change, and nurse call is going to become a true patient experience. The data from all these devices and a commitment to standards-based interoperability will drive predictive alarms. The possibilities are limitless, and your feedback will play a crucial role.”
Paul said, “Every day around the world, Hillrom is helping caregivers and patients achieve better outcomes. We do this by building category leading products: smart beds, integrated workflows, predictive analytics – you name it. Now, with Voalte, we can get critical, real-time information directly into the hands of caregivers. And we’re just getting started.”
All of us at Hillrom are so excited for the future, and we look forward to working with all of you in creating what comes next.
