The first time we invited our customers to Sarasota, Florida, for the inaugural Voalte User Experience conference in 2015, we weren’t quite sure what to expect. After all, we were doing something brand new: Bringing together IT and clinical leaders from throughout the United States to share ideas and lessons learned about mobile communication solutions.
At that time, smartphones were still new in healthcare, so the early Voalte customers were true pioneers. Despite the challenges of implementing mobile technologies in a complex environment, they were dedicated to pushing the envelope to help caregivers work more efficiently and improve patient care.
Now, as we begin planning VUE19, we know that our customers are eager to share powerful stories of the results they’ve achieved by integrating Voalte solutions with other hospital systems. Plus, this year is special because it’s the first event since our acquisition earlier this year by Hillrom. I invite you to join us November 13 to 15, 2019, to learn how the energy of Voalte plus the global resources of Hillrom will benefit your health system.
While repeat VUE attendees can count on the informative sessions, great networking opportunities and product roadmaps of previous years, this fall’s event will offer some new elements as well. One I’m particularly excited about is an interactive smart room, showcasing integrated technologies from smart bed surveillance to advanced alerting to real-time locating to mobile communication. Being able to tie all of these technologies together seamlessly is one of the big advantages of bringing Voalte into the Hillrom product family.
We’ll have many more exciting announcements in the months leading up to VUE19, but don’t wait to register. The event sold out last year, and we expect the same this year. VUE19 is sure to be a special event not only for Hillrom and Voalte, but for the entire healthcare industry.
